In this half-day training course, Kristy Siefkin, a former news anchor, and John Register, a certified speaking professional, will teach you how to effectively communicate your personal story to achieve success in your career, gain media attention, and increase your income.
This event is an intensive and interactive training session for your business, designed for speakers, trainers, consultants. The session will include on camera evaluations, and methodologies for telling compelling stories in virtual or in-person space.

Meet the Pro Speaker Team:
John Register
John Register is a two-time Paralympian, a Paralympic Games Silver Medalist, a Persian Gulf War veteran, and a TEDx motivational speaker who inspires people to live healthier, wealthier, more fulfilling, passionate, and purposeful life. Born and raised in Oak Park, Illinois, John is a true survivor who has overcome countless challenges to achieve great success. Despite losing his left leg after a misstep over a hurdle during his training for the 1996 Olympic Games, John never lost his fighting spirit. He learned how to “amputate his fear of disability” and became a world-renowned motivational speaker, sharing his powerful message of perseverance, determination, and resilience with audiences worldwide.
John is a four-time All-American graduate of the University of Arkansas and served six years in the U.S. Army, including active duty with the U.S. Army World Class Athlete Program. He has won numerous awards and accolades, including nine gold medals in the Armed Services Competition and two World Military Championships.
Kristy Siefkin
Kristy Siefkin is the Founder and Principal of Kristy Siefkin Communications. As an Executive Communications Coach, she teaches senior executives to leverage psychology, emotional intelligence and the secrets of the world’s greatest communicators to build their brands as thought leaders every time they speak. Kristy spent nearly 20 years as a national media spokesperson and Emmy-recognized News Anchor, broadcasting on networks like NBC, CBS, Fox, Animal Planet and Discovery. Using her GoTo Speaker™ Methodology, she’s trained over 700 leaders to craft compelling messages and deliver them with confidence and impact, whether on a TEDx stage, in the boardroom, or in front of a video camera or podcast microphone.
Organizations like CBRE, ThermoFisher, Zions Bancorporation, Goodwill, Phoenix Children’s Hospital and HP have entrusted Kristy with training their talent. Kristy is also a sought-after professional speaker and event emcee, taking the stage for organizations like Society for Human Resource Management, Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week, The Business Journals, The Vince Lombardi Cancer Foundation, SPCA, Healthcare Financial Management Association, and Organization for Nonprofit Executives. A proud Duke Blue Devil, Kristy holds a Bachelors in Psychology and Masters in Multimedia Journalism. Event date: Friday, July 28, 2023.
Arrival: please arrive at 8:30am for light breakfast and to get your workbook.
Session times: 9am to 1pm MST.
Materials: all training materials, interactive discussions and Q&A will be provided at the venue on the day of the event, including your workbook.
Attire: business casual.
Parking: included with registration.
Class size: limited to only 50 people to allows us to interact and learn in a small-group setting.
